DOLLS THAT NEVER WERE: New York Minute Fashion Assortment

In April 2004, Mattel released the New York Minute Doll Giftset and a New York Minute Playset. The company also planned to launch a Fashion Assortment featuring outfits from the second act of the theatrical film New York Minute, with prototypes even being produced. The playset included a clothing rack and empty hangers, allowing users to mix and match both new and existing outfits within the set.

However, following a business transition in which Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen bought out their former business partner, they opted to discontinue future collaborations with Mattel, leading to the cancellation of the Fashion Assortment.
