License2Drive Car: June 2002

In June 2002, the License2Drive car was released alongside the Sweet 16 dolls as part of Dualstar's expansive Sweet 16 campaign. This campaign included books, dolls, and frequent media appearances, all celebrating the milestone of turning 16 and gaining the legal right to drive-a theme prominently featured on their sitcom So Little Time. Now, fans could recreate this exciting journey with their 10-inch dolls.

The set included a light blue car, a sheet of customizable stickers, a chip-art replica of their driver's license, and a handbook.

Fun Fact: This car is an exact replica of Skipper's (Barbie's sister) vehicle from the Let's Drive student driver gift set. (See image in the gallery.)
