New York Minute Giftset: April 2004
In 2004, Mary-Kate and Ashley released their final feature film together, New York Minute. Inspired by the movie's characters, Roxy (played by Mary-Kate) and Jane (played by Ashley), a special edition gift set was produced. This set included two 10-inch dolls dressed in outfits from the film, along with a dog and various accessories.
This was the last gift set created by Mattel for the Mary-Kate and Ashley doll line, as Dualstar's contract with the company was coming to an end. Additionally, a playset designed for the dolls was released, and a fashion assortment was planned. However, the fashion line was ultimately scrapped due to the decision not to continue producing future dolls.
