Graduation Celebration: January 2004

The second release in the Year of Celebrations collection was the Graduation Celebration dolls, designed to commemorate both prom and high school graduation. A mass-produced variant of the Mary-Kate doll was introduced, originally featuring wavy hair but later also produced with straight hair. In contrast, Ashley's doll was only available with straight hair. This made Mary-Kate's wavy-haired version the second - and final - doll in this Mattel line to feature a non - straight hairstyle.
