Campus Chic Fashion Pack: September 2001

Due to the immense popularity of the fashion dolls, which surpassed sales of other celebrity dolls (article, 2002), Mattel released a second wave of fashion packs. Two of these packs were reissues from the previous year, featuring updated packaging and artwork reminiscent of the 'Movie Magic' dolls. The three new packs, Campus Chic, Girls Night, and Cool Shopping, were launched in September 2001 and included laptops, bags, accessories, and two complete outfits.

Themed mix-and-match fashions that let girls create lots of different looks for the popular teen stars. Each set includes fashions, accessories and play pieces for both Mary-Kate and Ashley.
